Here are a whole lot of maps & charts I’ve set up. They show the different visualisation types and a some different things that can be done with data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zoom in on the map to see more detail. Click Birthplace and click different countries to see the percentage for those nationalities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
C lvyqafd7<\/u> The same as before, but with a column chart instead of a map. Again, you can move the mouse across to see details. The scroll wheel will zoom the chart in & out. Click Residence and click one of the states to see a breakdown for that state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
P nrsyqk0l<\/u> Pie chart showing the numbers speaking different languages. Click the “English” section and “Exclude English” to see English-only speakers excluded. You can click Year and click a different year to animate between the statistics from the different census years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that after making changes, you can click the Undo button to return to what you had before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can change the group, colour & sort settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A o0b8ryth<\/u> Churches in Adelaide, with ethnic minority churches coloured, list grouped by denomination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n M fbilynsz<\/span> Map of NSW showing the most common language (might take a while). M 64fks1qg<\/span> Map of Australia with most common language other than English (might take a while).<\/p>\n\n\n\n M 5e0zwslp<\/span> Suburbs\/localities in SA, coloured by if their name contains Mount, Park, St or field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I’ve described how to make small changes from any of the above states. You can change the topics, the iteration variable and level. You can choose any of the Vis\/algo options, after which you may need to change a few other things to make it work. Some things can only be achieved by typing in the “Algo code” section, which is complex, undocumented and liable to change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Different topics have the data to different levels and there aren’t always clear messages when your settings call for data that’s not available.
